NEW OWNERSHIP IN BLAZER COUNTRY

NEW OWNERSHIP IN BLAZER COUNTRY

After nearly a year-long negotiation, the Blazers are now being operated by new ownership.  Michael Pepperine, of the 3 GEMS Baseball Organization, purchased the team from former owner Robert Miller back in November of last year, and is now officially in charge of day-to-day operations of the Summer ball club.  Pepperine has coached in the league for more than six years, and is very familiar with the functions of Collegiate Summer Baseball.  He will also serve as a new board member with the Boonville Youth Athletic Association (BYAA), and talks are already underway to fully renovate the Robert Smith Sports Complex in time for the start of the 2021 PGCBL season.  “It only makes sense to make the improvements right away”, said Pepperine.  “With us along with the High School using the complex for games, we feel that Boonville is deserving and long overdue for some impovements.”  The roster is being formed for next season, and player profiles will be posted in the coming weeks.  “LET’S GO ADK!”
