Your hometown ball club is pleased to announce the signing of speedy outfielder, Austin Rachiele from MCLA. Austin sports a .299 career mark (157 AB) to go along with 20 stolen bags in 23 tries, and has also put it in play regularly (20 K’s). He was off to a sizzling start before the pandemic struck, with 11 hits in his first 21 AB’s last spring. The fact that he retains his sophomore eligibility headed into the ’21 season brings optimism to both Trail Blazer clubhouses. More facts:

Rachiele is a member of the Dean’s List at MCLA
2019- Rachiele appeared in 38 games last season, totaling 36 hits with 12 RBI’s, he also led the team with 14 stolen bases. Rachiele’s best day at the plate came against Framingham State, where he had 3 hits.
High School- Rachiele played at Taconic High School where his team won the 2017 state title. He was named the Western Massachusetts Tournament MVP last season and helped the Braves advance to the State Finals again
